Summary

The cropmarks of probable late medieval to post medieval field boundaries overlying the Roman town at Billingford (NHER 7206) are visible on aerial photographs. The cropmarks grouped under this number correspond to, or are similarly aligned to, ditches of late medieval date recorded within the excavations of this area.

The cropmarks of probable late medieval to post medieval field boundaries overlying the Roman town at Billingford (NHER 7206) are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The cropmarks grouped under this number correspond to, or are similarly aligned to, ditches of late medieval date recorded within the excavations of this area (S4). The site is centred on TG 0088 1978. Cropmarks thought to date to the Roman period are recorded under NHER 50976.
