Summary

Main east-west block has brick quoins at west end and rearwall stack edged in bricks, both with diagonal skintlings that do not occur after the 1780s. Main carcass of carrstone; south façade and east extension have brick details with horizontal skintlings (1770 onwards). Rear wing butts on to stack. Thus it would appear main house is 18th century; refaced, heightened, extended to east and rear, interior refurbished probably around 1880, the date the church was restored.
