Map

Pre 1947. Stray Find.
According to (S1) old record maps indicate that one of the Palaeolithic objects in the Norwich Castle Museum's F. N. Haward Collection was recovered at this location (No. 151). This object does not appear to have been individually accessioned and is presumably part of the main collection (NWHCM : 1947.33). This find is probably a handaxe, although it is listed simply as a Palaeolith on (S1).
Also noted in (S2) and (S3).
E. Rose (NAU). Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 1 July 2013.
