Summary

The British Museum holds a prehistoric flint flake from Croxton Heath. This is listed in the museum's records as Mesolithic. Croxton Heath lies in the northernmost part of the parish and is now forested.

The British Museum Sturge Collection includes a Mesolithic flint flake from Croxton Heath (unregistered). This flint is noted by (S1). It should be noted that no British Museum finds are listed in (S2) under the entry for Croxton parish. This is presumably one of the 3 "Neolithic" flakes from Croxton listed in (S3).
