Full Description
May 2008. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometry survey of proposed aggregate extraction areas.
Various moderate magnetic disturbances were detected, but few appear likely to be of archaeological significance. A broad linear feature was identified parallel to the field boundary, which may represent the edge of a headland. A series of magnetic abnormalities that create an intermittent linear feature could indicate traces of formal ditches or field boundaries, although the findings are limited.
