Map

September 1987. Field Observation.
Examined as part of UEA farm survey.
Farm set across a parish boundary (as is, interestingly, its one-time owner Stanfield Hall, to the south). Brick barn, with a 17th century plinth, possibly formerly timber framed above but now iron and brick. Cart lodges of brick, probably early 19th century. Shed of a similar date, another around 1900. Stable for 12 horses with a feeding passage, pre 1850, perhaps late 18th century. This is a non-estate farm, tenanted in the 1850s.
See (S1) in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 23 July 2007.
