Full Description
The first building in Britain, and probably the world, to be damaged by aerial bombardment from a Zepplin on 19 January 1915 at 0830. The house is of terraced type yet seems always to have stood alone. Photographs indicate that is was rebuilt to the original form of two bays, two storeys with a full height canted bay window and round arched door to the right.
