Map

October 2008. Norfolk NMP.
An undated, sub-circular bank feature, centred at TG 2666 1238 was visible as a negative cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). As it was only visible on one set of photographs, it is difficult to characterise, and has been mapped with a note of caution.
The outer bank measures approximately 12m in diameter, with two possible breaks in its circumference. There is an extension of approximately 6m at the north-western side of the bank. In the centre, there is an oblong bank feature measuring approximately 5m in length. It is possible that this feature relates to post medieval agricultural activity, such as a stack stand.
E. Bales (NMP), 4 November 2008.
