Map

November 2008. Norfolk NMP.
Undated linear and curvilinear features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 2844 1266. The linear ditches may relate to medieval to post medieval land division.
There is also a sub-circular ditch feature to the south of the area, which may or may not be related to the linear ditches. It measures approximately 15m in diameter, and appears to be an incomplete circle, although this may represent masking of the archaeology, rather than an entrance. It seems unlikely to represent a prehistoric feature, and may be the mark left by a medieval to post medieval stack stand (see NHER 50989).
E. Bales (NMP), November 2008.
