Full Description
Range of farm buildings north of Church House, which is in itself an early 19th century brick building.
2 two storied tower like square blocks, one with a slate roof and the other, slightly higher, with a tiled roof; between them a large tile roofed brick barn connected by flint and brick lean to buildings.
E. Rose, (NAU) 15 October 1975
December 2002.
The southern pavillion, with a slate roof, is a coach house formerly off a semi-circular drive to Church House, its door to the south.
The northern pavillion was a granary with two arches to the east, now converted to a house.
The barn between them was originally a threshing barn aligned east to west; the north and south walls of flint, except for east end north wall, which is brick, with brick quoins to cart doors; the gable walls are of brick, with lozenge vents. There was a cart porch to the north and a pentise on the south with a lunette in the east wall. However, at some date the roof has been replaced by one with the ridge above the south wall, using the pentise roof as half of it, and the gable cut down, giving a very odd appearance. All the brickwork has horizontal skintlings, post about 1770, and the buildings are probably contemporary with Church House.
E. Rose (NLA), 21 December 2002.
