Full Description
January 2009. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometry survey of proposed development areas.
Modern agricultural features were detected over the majority of the site. A field drainage system was identified on the east of the site, but no significant archaeological anomalies were detected.

2009. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development areas. From Context 1.
A post-medieval ditch was located in Trench 4, and in Trench 8 an E-W service trench and articulated calf burial were identified. No other archaeological finds or features were recorded.

The assessment of the aerial photographs for this area revealed possible ditch-like features in the vicinity of this site, some of which may in fact relate to the surveyed and excavated drainage features noted above, see NHER 54676 for details.
