Summary

Metal-detecting in 2008-2009 and 2013-2014 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Roman and medieval coins, a post-medieval jetton and undated, Roman, Late Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated weight; Roman brooches, a lock-bolt, harness fitting and furniture fitting; a Late Saxon strap-end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval padlock, spindle whorl and furniture fitting; a medieval/post-medieval candlestick fragment and copper alloy ring and post-medieval cloth seals, a crotal bell, finger-ring and stylus.
