Summary

Metal-detecting between 2008 and 2012 recovered a later prehistoric flint flake; Romano-British, medieval and medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds; Late IronAge/Roman, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and metal objects dating from the Roman to post-medieval periods. The metal finds include a Roman brooch; a Roman/Early Saxon bow brooch; an Early Saxon girdle hanger; a Late Saxon strap-end; medieval, buckle, rumbler bell and horse harness mount and pendant and a post-medieval knife end-cap and buckle.
