Cropmarks plotted by D.A. Edwards (NAU) 1974.
Rectangular enclosure overlain by small oval enclosure.
(S1).
E. Rose (NAU).
Spring 1985. Area of cropmark systematically fieldwalked and metal detected.
No finds other than post medieval tile and small scraps of metal, probably recent.

Oval enclosure showing, no sign of northern rectangular enclosure it overlies on TF 9529/AJJ, can be detected faintly on TF 9529/AJH.

The oval enclosure is probably the remains of a Neolithic long barrow or mortuary enclosure. The rectangular enclosure is defined by a series of pits and may be associated.
