Full Description
March 2009
A cropmark of a ring ditch is visible on Google Earth aerial imagery (S1). The ring ditch is circular in plan with an external diameter of approximately 26m and a narrow ditch measuring less than 2m wide. It is likely that this ring ditch relates to a Bronze Age round barrow. This cropmark was not visible on aerial photographs examined during the Norfolk National Mapping Programme. A similarly sized ring ditch cropmark, previously recorded 300m to the northwest (NHER 27665), is also visible on (S1).
J. Albone (NLA), 20 March 2009.
