Map

May 2009. Building Survey.
Survey of farm buildings at Church Farm, ahead of their proposed conversion.
The survey recorded a late 18th century flint cobble and brick barn that had been built for hand-threshing and storage of grain and straw. The barn retained many original features typical of threshing barns of this period. A probable stable also constructed from flint cobble and brick dating to the late 18th century was also recorded. The presence of a '1710' datestone may indicate that a building exisited in this location prior to the construction of the stable.
