Full Description
March 2009. Norfolk NMP.
A series of linear earthworks running roughly north east-south west were observed on aerial photographs (S1) centred on TG 2518 0976. The earthwork ditches ranged in length from approximately 14 to 36m, and were sited approximately 1.2m apart. They were similar in appearance to ridge and furrow features, and as such have been assigned a possible medieval to post medieval date, but it is possible that they were related to modern horticultural activity, as they were sited in close proximity to an area of allotments.
E. Bales (NMP), 14 March 2009.
