Map

April 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear features and a possible trackway were visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred on TG 2820 0662, although these are rather faint and ephemeral and may be agricultural, or possibly geological, in nature.
Two of the linear features, which run for approximately 70m north west-south east from TG 2818 0668 to TG 2823 0665, may make up part of a possible trackway, in a similar way to those recorded 900m to the south (NHER 52052), and as such have been assigned a possible late prehistoric to Roman or Medieval to Post Medieval date. Two shorter linear features are visible at a perpendicular angle to this possible trackway, and may represent field boundaries.
As they were only visible on one set of aerial photographs, these features have been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), 7 April 2009.
