Two possible World War Two bomb craters are visible on aerial photographs (S1)- (S7), situated 183m apart, centred at TG 2492 0691.
The eastern-most crater is visible as an oval pit, measuring 8.7m x 9.7m, centred at TG 2501 0690, with a bank surrounding it, of up to 2.3m in width on the southern side. 183m to the west, a second possible bomb crater is visible centred at TG 2483 0692 (S1) and (S6), although this is slightly more circular in appearance, measuring 13m x 13.9m, and has a bank associated with it of up to 3.3m on the western side.
