Map

May 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Possible post medieval garden features are visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) in the north-west corner of the grounds of Bixley Manor, Bixley, centred on TG 2559 0627.

They appear to form two possible rectangles, measuring approximately 33m by 17m, although the western-most ditch is incomplete, perhaps due to degradation over time. The earthworks are located on a similar alignment to Bixley Manor House, suggesting that they represented garden features, although it is possible that these features were remnants of features in Crown Point Park (NHER 37582) to the north and west. Earthworks are still visible in 1990 (S4).
