Summary

Several parallel linear bank and ditch features are visible as slight earthworks on aerial photographs of land to the north of Whitlingham Lane, Trowse with Newton. It is possible that these features represent former ridge and furrow, although they may have performed a drainage function, on land sloping gently towards the river Yare.
