Roman to post-medieval lead weight or spindle whorl.
Medieval lead pot mend.
Medieval/post-medieval horseshoe.
Post-medieval strap fitting.
[3] notes that the rally also recovered a large numbers of large gauge musket balls, probably late 18th century to early 19th century in date and mostly unfired; a few "Brown Bess" calibre used in military muskets and non-standard issue balls with flattened bodies. [3] suggests that the site was perhaps an assembly ground or practice meadow for the local Militia or Yeomanry between about 1795 and 1815.
