Map

February 1998. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Compartment 4115).
Banks noted along northern and southern edges of compartment. Both probably represent field boundaries. No corresponding features marked on 1st Edition O.S 1" map.
See report (S1) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 19 August 2015.

April-May 2009. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Coupe 52270).
The survey area is clearly defined as an area of woodland on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. Two boundary banks were identified, one to the south and a second to the west of the surveyed area, and are probably medieval or post- medieval in date.
See report (S2) for further details.
H. White, (NLA), 15 September 2009.

October 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Two earthwork banks are visible on aerial photographs (S3) and were mapped as they represent an extension to the east by up to 500m of the known banks recorded above. However, they are clearly visible on the tithe and 1st edition ordnance survey maps of the area (S4-S5) as a medieval to post medieval woodland boundary.
E. Bales (NMP), 18 Oct 2010.]
