Full Description
January 2009. Earthwork Rapid Identification survey.
Site 2:
A substantial bank with a variable ditch to the south. The bank is not perfectly straight, as it has a gentle bend to the east. The western end of the bank lies within an area of military activity, and is heavily scarred. The bank has been interpreted as dividing the extensive military activity from the south of the heath, or a probable sub-division of the heath for management purposes.
