Map

October 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Medieval to post medieval field boundary ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred on TG 1515 1859. The features to the east of the site are depicted on the Tithe Map of 1900 (S3), and those to the west appear to be related, for example the north northeast-south southwest feature that runs from TG 1502 1873 to TG 1499 1855 appears to relate to the edge of a wooded area depicted on the 1st edition OS map (S4). A curvilinear ditch to the north, running east-west from TG 1489 1874 to TG 1507 1877 does not appear on these maps, but may also represent a former field boundary ditch.
E. Bales (NMP), October 2009.
