Four possible World War Two bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), on land within Gilham’s Heath Plantation, Felthorpe.
Four sub-circular pit features are visible of up to 6.3m in diameter, centred at TG 1528 1736, TG 1529 1743, TG 1533 1747 and TG 1535 1752, each of which exhibits a possible bank of upcast spoil to the southern side.
