Full Description
November 2009. Norfolk NMP.
Several fragmentary linear features and part of a possible curvilinear enclosure are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Park Farm, Felthorpe, centred on TG 1862 1999.
The linear features are visible amongst the modern drainage ditches, and it is possible that they performed a drainage function, but they are fragmentary and difficult to be certain of. Three sides of a possible enclosure are visible centred at TG 1869 1999, measuring approximately 50m by at least 17m, although this is also by no means clear, and due to the fact that the features are only visible on one photographic frame, and that they may relate to background geology rather than archaeology they have been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Bales (NMP), November 2009.
