Summary

A watching brief maintained during limited groundworks at this site in 2009 recorded an undated ditch. A small number of unstratified medieval and late post-medieval/modern pottery sherds were the only finds recovered.

November 2009. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of residential dwelling.
The footing trenches excavated revealed an undated east-to-west aligned ditch and a modern brick-lined septic tank.
A small number of medieval pottery sherds were recovered from topsoil and subsoil deposits, along with several late post-medieval/modern sherds.
The archive associated with this work has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2010.66).
