Full Description
January 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Three linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), on land to the north of Stanfield Road, Wymondham. The features are extremely faint, and only visible on one set of photographs, and are also situated within an area of geological frost crack patterning. They have therefore been recorded with extreme caution.
An east west ditch runs from TG 1352 0075 to TG 1380 0071. There is also a north east-south west ditch visible 66m to the northeast, running from TG 1393 0087 to TG 1383 0077. A third north west-south east ditch, 49m in length, crosses the second at TG 1390 0084.
E. Bales (NMP), January 2010.
