Map

January 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Undated curvilinear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3), on land to the south of Wymondham Road, Bracon Ash, centred on TG 1416 0017.
The linear north-south ditch appears to join at right angles a cropmark of a field boundary visible on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (S4), and is therefore likely to be medieval to post medieval in date.
The curvilinear ditch to the south appears to join a drainage channel depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map at TG 1412 0010, and may also therefore date to the medieval to post-medieval period, although it is possible that it could represent a more modern drainage channel.
E. Bales (NMP), January 2010.
