October 2004. Building recording.
An early 16th century, 2 bay timber framed cottage of 1 1/2 storeys. The cottage included a timber framed chimney at the upper end of the hall. The hall must have been floored whilst the chimney was still in existence as the ledge was pegged into the chimney. In the 17th century a brickwork chimney was inserted within the timber chimney and a parlour was added beyond the service bay. A shallow pitch roof was added in the 19th century.
