Map

June 2006. Building recording.
The pump house is a brick and flint cottage probably of late 18th or early 19th century date. The roof is covered in pantiles and the house has been rendered with pebble dash. The east side of the yard has a single storey brick and flint wash-house built against the adjoining property. The pump cottage with its attached wash-house and yard presumably derived its name from the pump which was available to other villagers but was also a perfect site from which to run a laundry.
See (S1) for further details.

The location of this building was updated. It had been incorrectly mapped approximately 50m to the northwest due to provision of a six-figure grid reference [1].
