Map

February 2010. Borehole Survey.
Window sampling evaluation of proposed development site.
Deposits at depths of between 1.67 and 1.80m from the borehole to the north of the site could be of an archaeological nature. The lowest deposit of made ground is recorded as containing frequent finds of modern brick, mortar and tarmac. Successive layers of alluvium beneath these made ground deposits attest to periods of flooding. Beneath these at a depth of 2.7m OD was a layer of peat.
