Summary

A series of undated linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, on land to the north of Hill House, Harling. It is probable that they relate to post medieval drainage ditches, as they appear to run into drainage features marked on the Ordnance Survey map.

A series of undated linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S4), centred on TM 0099 8520.
The ditches measure up to 3.9m in width, although this may represent degradation of the features as they are visible as open earthworks.
It is probable that they relate to post medieval drainage ditches, as they appear to run into drainage features and ponds marked on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map (S5)
