Map

February 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Two undated ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1) on land making up part of East Harling common. They both run roughly north-south, the northern-most running for 39m from TM 0051 8809 to TM 0051 8805, the southern one for 141m from TM 0055 8798 to TM 0055 8784. They are only visible on one set of aerial photographs, and have therefore been recorded with a note of caution. It is possible that they are related in some way to land division on East Harling Common. They lie within an area of multi-period finds, and a possible flint trackway, which could not be positively identified on the available aerial photographs (NHER 28355).
E. Bales (NMP), 10 February 2010.
