Summary

A broad and blurred curvilinear ditch is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs on land to the north of Snetterton airfield. Fieldwalking between May and June 2001 recovered a concentration of medieval pottery.

A broad and blurred curvilinear ditch is visible as a soilmark on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the north of Snetterton airfield.
The ditch measures approximately 110m in length and measures up to 6.3m in width. It curves from a northeast-southwest direction to a southeast-northwest orientation from TM 0016 9130 to TM 0017 9119.
The feature is extremely blurred, and only visible on one set of photographs, and has therefore been recorded with a note of caution.
