Full Description
February 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of a possible rectangular enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the east of North Farm, Snetterton. The enclosure is centred on TM 0013 9235 and measures 14m by 8m.
It is possible that this feature may relate to the medieval moat and enclosure to the west (NHER 13933), although it seems more probable that it represents a post medieval garden feature.
The earthworks have since been levelled, and are no longer visible (S2).
E. Bales (NMP), 12 February 2010.
