Map

February 2010. Norfolk NMP.
Linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) on land to the west of Swangey Lane, Rocklands. They are centred on TM 0019 9468 and are largely east-west in orientation.
A central ditch, running north-south through the area was not mapped, as it is visible as a field boundary on the tithe map (S2), but as these ditches run either perpendicular to this north south ditch, or as a possible continuation to it, from TM 0019 9467 to TM 0021 9449, it is probable that they also represent medieval to post medieval field boundaries or land division.
E. Bales (NMP), 12 February 2010.
