Map

February 2010. Norfolk NMP.
An undated linear cropmark, possibly a medieval to post medieval drainage feature, is visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the east of Rockland Lane, Little Ellingham.
This broad and blurred ditch stretches from TM 0028 9882 to TM 0009 9895, whereupon it appears to broaden from approximately 3m in width to a maximum of 64m where it appears to run into a modern drainage ditch. It is difficult to be certain whether this feature is archaeological in nature, as it is only visible on one set of photographs, and it may represent a former paleochannel.
E. Bales (NMP), 15 February 2010.
