Summary

The cropmarks of a pair of parallel undated ditches, which may represent part of a trackway, are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Bramerton village. The date of these ditches is unknown although the presence of Iron Age to Roman date finds (NHER 51182) in the vicinity could indicate a broadly contemporary date for the cropmark.

Map

November 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a pair of parallel undated ditches, which may represent part of a trackway, are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Bramerton village (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 2990 0472.
The ditch sections are approximately 65m long and 7m apart and may represent a fragment of a longer trackway. The date of these ditches is unknown although the presence of Iron Age to Roman date finds (NHER 51182) in the vicinity could indicate a broadly contemporary date for the cropmarks, although this is not certain.
