The cropmarks of fragmentary ditches, probably representing the remains of former field boundaries and trackways of unknown date, are visible on aerial photographs to the east and south of Alpington Hall (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 2918 0093. The site consists of fragmentary ditches and former field boundaries and possible trackway sections representing elements of more than one phase.
