Summary

Late Prehistoric retouched flakes, Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery were recovered from the surface of the field in 2009. The large quantity of medieval pottery recovered suggests a possible settlement.

2 Late Prehistoric retouched flakes, 15 Roman, 113 medieval, 7 medieval/ post medieval, and 4 post medieval pottery sherds. The quantity of medieval pottery suggests a possible settlement. A building with a well is visible on the 1st edition OS map.
