Map

November 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of former field boundaries of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the east Poringland village (S1). The site is centred on TG 2780 0194. These boundaries follow the same alignment as other post medieval boundaries in the area and although they are not depicted on available historic maps, it seems likely that they represent features of a broadly post medieval date. The cropmarks were not added to the NMP mapping rather their presence is recorded.
S. Horlock (NMP), 18 November 2009.
