Full Description
December 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of field boundaries and ditches of probable medieval to post medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Poringland Lane, Caistor St Edmund (S1-S3). The site is centred on TG 2556 0288. The ditches appear to be broadly parallel or perpendicular to the surrounding field layout and the nearby parish boundary, indicating that they are likely to medieval to post medieval in origin.
