Map

December 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The site of a possible former World War Two defensive structure was tentatively identified on aerial photographs at this location, but was not mapped due to uncertainty over its archaeological nature (S1). The site is centred on TG 2716 0364. A possible camouflaged circular structure was tentatively identified at the junction of Fox Road and The Street, Framingham Pigot (S1). However the fact that this feature looked more like a tree in the 1950s (S2) potentially indicated that this not in fact a military structure. Due to some existing uncertainty a record of the possible site has been made.
S. Horlock (NMP), 29 December 2009.
