Full Description
March 2009. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of undated ditches, which probably represent the remains of former field boundaries of more than one phase, are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Caistor Lane, Caistor St Edmund (S1). The site is centred on TG 2463 0374. Numerous Roman date finds have been recorded within the general vicinity of this site (NHER 9801, 36545, 37002 & 37291) and it is feasible that some of these ditches are Roman in date.
S. Horlock (NMP), 15 March 2009.
