The cropmarks of a ring ditch, potentially represent the remains of a possible Bronze Age round barrow are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Cantley Hill, Caistor St Edmund (S1). The site is centred on TG 2441 0416. The ring ditch is slightly oval in shape and measures 17.5m by 16m and the possible traces of an inner bank or mound may be visible as a parchmark (S1). Another possible round barrow has been recorded to the north (NHER 52250), although this may relate to a former Roman structure and/or mound, see record for details.
