Summary

During a metal detecting survey between May and June 2001 a number of post-medieval finds including lead musket balls, an iron and lead weight and a piece from a WWII large bomb were recovered.

Post-medieval lead musket balls, an iron and lead weight and part of a large WWII bomb (the nosepiece) were recovered recovered from this site. It is possible that the bomb is probably associated with the airfield at Snetterton.
