April 2010. Norfolk NMP.
The site of probable World War Two weapon pits and/or practice trenches is visible on aerial photographs on Alderford Common (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 1273 1835 and consists of small elongated pits or trenches, which probably relate to military training rather than defence.
