Summary

A World War Two spigot mortar emplacement is visible as an earthwork and structure on aerial photographs. It was sited behind the hedgeline bordering Bluebell Road, and was one of many such defences that protected Norwich from a land-based invasion.

A World War Two spigot mortar emplacement is visible as an earthwork and structure on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), centred at TG 1992 0781. It was sited behind the hedgeline bordering Bluebell Road, and was one of many such defences that protected Norwich from a land-based invasion.
